One thing we were concerned about was, if we do have a significant breach or incident, one of the hardest things is working out the ingress points. But now that we’re actively monitoring our estate, were the worst to happen, we should not only be able to close it fairly quickly, but also present a very accurate picture of what happened. CTS adds another layer of credibility to our information security position.
The move to hosted services six years ago was an important step forward, but we needed a secure and stable platform compatible with our ambitions. CTS came out head and shoulders above the other potential suppliers. They proactively liaise with our internal team, on a daily basis. CTS feels like an extension of our IT department, rather than a separate entity.
The fact that we have so few tickets now shows how CTS has improved the infrastructure and made it more reliable. If I call CTS and say I’ve got a problem concerning compliance or a regulatory issue, for example, they understand. They’re also familiar with the CMS applications that support the legal sector, so that’s very helpful.
CTS actively monitors our server networks, storage and cloud services. We’ve also got a technical relationship manager personally assigned to us. This means the overhead of IT engineer time onsite is greatly reduced. After three years, we have a really strong
relationship. They cover everything from support and licensing to possible outages and technical failures. It all means our main focus can be on our end users.Our experience of working with CTS has been excellent and their relationship with Thomson Reuters has been invaluable for keeping the project on track. Their technical consultants liaised directly with the Thomson Reuters team to provide us with the resource we required at each stage. An IT provider with experience of your applications who demonstrates a willingness to collaborate with your software vendor will reduce the pressure on your in-house team and lead to a better result.
CTS have done a fantastic job of ensuring we’re ready for the transition and their experience with this type of transformational change is crucial in ensuring it goes smoothly. Since implementation, not only has performance significantly improved, but the level of service to the firm and our clients has been second to none.
