Role Purpose

Seeking a visionary Head of Marketing and Lead/Customer Acquisition to champion our marketing initiatives, driving strategic growth and innovation. This leadership role is central to enhancing our digital marketing capabilities, generating a robust pipeline, increasing customer inquiries, and leveraging AI technologies to set new standards in marketing effectiveness. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing marketing strategies that align with business objectives, managing the marketing budget, and fostering strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners.

At ASI Solutions, the Head of Marketing is responsible for the functional and strategic direction and coordination of all marketing activities, customer engagement and revenue growth across Australia and New Zealand.

This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies and plans to amplify lead generation, customer acquisition, and pipeline growth, integrating AI/ automation technologies to optimize outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure marketing strategies support business goals, enhancing cross-functional synergy and customer experience.
  • Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring strategic investment in initiatives that drive measurable business growth.
  • Forge productive relationships with vendors to create co-aligned marketing plans that leverage external expertise and insights.
  • Engage in Public Relations activities to elevate the company's brand presence and reputation in the market.
  • Develop compelling customer case studies that showcase the impact of our solutions, working directly with our customers to highlight success stories.
  • Maintain active engagement with customers, understanding their needs and feedback to inform marketing strategies and product development.
  • Overall responsibility for the development of Company brand awareness and sales lead generation for the region.
  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders, particularly the sales, services, and operations teams, to drive customer-centricity in marketing initiatives, campaigns, and events.
  • Collaborate with ASI Solutions subject matter experts (SME’s) to understand the services we offer with the goal of establishing key messaging and USPs for each solution.
  • Produce marketing assets and sales support material to support new business growth and help existing customers deliver on their strategic IT initiatives. Including print media, point of sale, email blasts, PowerPoint presentations, sales training aids, video content, online blogs, and social media.
  • Lead and manage our Marketing and SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) specialists.
  • Plan, attend, and co-ordinate ASI lead events, industry-sponsored events, and educational training seminars.
  • Manage marketing budgets, graphic designers, and digital agencies to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans for a portfolio of IT products and services.
  • Manage, report, re-evaluate and optimise marketing activities to ensure strong ROI from marketing spend to contribute to lead, deposit and settlement targets.
  • Maintain and update all marketing plans and schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
  • GTM planning and execution, ensuring items are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Creating ‘industry-specific’ content to drive better engagement within target industry segments.
  • Overseeing writing style and tone for all content
  • Conducting periodic content audits - Tracking and calculating content engagement ROI.

About You

  • Demonstrated leadership in marketing with a strategic vision for leveraging digital channels and marketing automation platforms. (Marketo preferrable).
  • Experience using Marketo, HubSpot or similar marketing platforms.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that significantly impact lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • You have run paid social and digital advertising campaigns.
  • Strong planning, organising and decision-making skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing and optimising marketing budgets for maximum return on investment.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working across organisational functions and with external partners to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Experience in Public Relations and developing customer case studies, showcasing an ability to communicate value effectively to various audiences.
  • Enthusiasm for working with customers, understanding their challenges, and leveraging insights to drive marketing and product strategy.
  • Persuasive communication skills both written and verbal.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing B2B marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent copywriting skills – You have shown that you can adapt messaging based on industry and target audience.
  • Content presentation skills – you should be able to determine how content should be customised for new and existing consumers to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Content delivery skills – you determine the best distribution channel to deliver content to reach your audience
  • Experience within technology marketing/IT services preferred but not essential.
  • Experience managing Tradeshows or Events preferable
