We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Consultant to undertake security architecture and security controls consulting support across a broad range of client engagements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Design and deliver cyber security risk, compliance and alignment services to assist customers to meet ISO/IEC 27000 series, ISA/IEC 62443 series, NIST CSF, NIST Special Publications series, etc.;
  • Lead and actively deliver security engagements in line with industry best practice, for IT and/or OT environments;
  • Be a trusted advisor to clients, someone they reach out to when in doubt;
  • Provide Quality Assurance and develop plans for the Consulting Team, to ensure timely and effective completion of projects;
  • Provide mentoring and coaching for more junior technical resources in the Consulting Team;
  • Review products, technologies and techniques to determine applicability to Orro’s services and client requirements, related to cyber security;
  • Create and maintain a library of response material, report templates and white papers;
  • Evaluate customer needs, document solution options and clearly communicate the value proposition. 

 

Skills, Knowledge & Experience to be Successful:

  • 5+ years of experience as a security consultant / security architect (or equivalent);
  • Experience in Critical Infrastructure / OT environments security assessments, or enthusiastic to quickly expand IT security skills into the OT security space;
  • Extensive experience in industry verticals such as Financial Services, Public Sector and medium to large enterprises;
  • Experience in both technical and policy domains of cyber security management;
  • Multiple certifications from entities such as: ISACA (CISA, CISM, CRISC, etc.), ISA (ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity), SABSA (Chartered Security Architect), TOGAF (Enterprise Architecture Foundation, etc.) GIAC (GSLC, GSTRT, etc.);
  • Be able to effectively communicate during all phases of a client engagement, understanding their needs and translating those needs into deliverable solutions;
  • Demonstrated high level conceptual and analytical skills together with the ability to develop and implement options, strategies, and processes to address complex business and technical issues;
  • Demonstrated broad knowledge and understanding of the major trends, strategic directions, and legislative and governance frameworks (e.g., the SOCI Act, ISA/IEC 62443 series, NIST CSF, etc.) related to cyber security, with the capacity to successfully implement;
  • Exceptional interpersonal, consultation, oral, and written communication skills, with proven capacity to influence and motivate senior management and maintain effective relationships with multi-disciplinary staff and external suppliers;
  • High level of initiative with ability to work on and deliver multiple outcomes simultaneously within specified timeframes.
