Are you passionate about technology, team building and exceeding customer expectations? This may be the role for you! Looking for a Technology Delivery Manager with deep experience in Azure Engineering & service management to lead the engineers on our managed services team, enabling them to support our customers to the best possible level.

 

 The role:

  • Oversee the delivery of engineering services- ensure client satisfaction and KPI achievement.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers specializing in Cloud, Modern Workplace, Network, and Data practices, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Build the dream team! This includes recruitment, development, performance appraisals, and succession planning.
  • Assist your team of engineers in solving complex technical problems and stay up to date with technological advances.
  • Coordinate and manage on-call duties for major incident management, ensuring swift and effective resolution of critical issues. Be on-call for the MIM role in rotation.
  • Optimise internal processes, including documentation, practice hygiene, and reporting.
  • Oversee external team hygiene, including ticket management and client communications.
  • Work with other internal teams to align cross-functional efforts and optimize service delivery.
  • Report regularly on team performance, project status, and strategic outcomes.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation and SME for the Technology Services engineers.

 

The ideal candidate:

  • Proven leadership and people management skills of a geographically dispersed technical team
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of navigating complex client and team dynamics.
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make critical decisions promptly.
  • Prior experience with cloud-based engineering and service management operations.
  • Strong understanding of Service Management platforms, preferably ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft solutions, including Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience in implementing and managing ITIL processes.
  • Relevant industry certifications are highly regarded (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, DevOps).
  • A Sydney or Melbourne base would be ideal to facilitate in-person meetings in
