The Opportunity

As the Head of Cyber Security, you will be building and delivering a successful Macquarie Cloud Services Cyber Security Practice. You will be able to grow the business and work with our strategic partners to deliver the most cost-effective solutions.

This role will be based in Sydney with a blended working arrangement of 3 days in our CBD offices and the remaining working from home. #LI-Hybrid

What you'll be doing

  • Defining the business plan and go-to-market strategy.
  • Driving pipeline and delivering growth based on expanding Cyber Security revenue.
  • Build and develop an exceptional sales enablement program.
  • Working with strategic partners to deliver the most cost-effective solution, driving impactful ROI.
  • Feed and inform product development to ensure the product catalogue meets customer needs and expectations.
  • Define a cost optimisation strategy.

Your ideal skills & experience

  • 7+ years of experience in C-level/Head of or leadership role in an IT services business.
  • Experience winning business in the mid-large Corporate IT market.
  • Demonstrated experience in deal and contract negotiation skills.
  • Worked in or for a business that has sold Cyber Security Managed Services as a core competency. 
  • Extensive business development experience.
  • Experience developing and executing new business development strategy for Australia along with sales enablement programs.
  • Proven bid-management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and iterate product sets to suit the market is desirable.
