We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at CloudTech24. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for client engagement and new business sales for our Managed Service solutions. Your primary focus will be on generating new business sales while working closely with the appropriate teams within the organisation to coordinate and deliver successful outcomes for our clients. This role requires a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound leads and enquiries.
  • Identify and target potential clients in the market to generate new business opportunities.
  • Ensuring that customer data is regularly updated and maintained within the CRM system.
  • Nurture and maintain existing client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for their needs and concerns.
  • Understand client requirements and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs, utilising our standardised offerings.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical and delivery teams, to ensure successful solution implementation and client satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts to management.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, client engagement, and revenue generation.
  • Proactively resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the sales process or client engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Sales Revenue: Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets.
  • Client Retention: Maintain a high client retention rate by ensuring client satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
  • New Business Acquisition: Manage new business opportunities and convert them into successful deals.
  • Sales Pipeline: Manage a healthy and active sales pipeline with a focus on conversion rates and timely follow-ups.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction as measured through client feedback and surveys.
  • Solution Adoption: Drive the adoption of standardised solutions within the client base.
  • Cross-Selling and Up-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell additional services or solutions to existing clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the IT or technology industry.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the MSP market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales tracking tools.
