Emerging IT is looking for a motivated, passionate account manager interested in solving problems, building long-term relationships with businesses, and helping them achieve their goals with technology. Your goal will be to become a trusted adviser, create happy clients and win new business in the NSW region.

In this diverse role, you will work with a range of different clients and prospects. You will have a deep understanding of how our customers work, their challenges, and their technology needs to help them grow and thrive in their respected industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage strong, long term relationships with our clients.
  • Work with your clients on a regular basis to understand their goals and align them with the necessary technology to achieve them.
  • Promote the growth of Emerging IT NSW by uncovering, scoping and qualifying opportunities where customers can use more Emerging IT products and services to ensure customer retention.
  • Manage the sales cycle for all opportunities.
  • Provide timely and accurate pipeline reporting to the National Sales Manager.
  • Prepare quality sales proposals and accurate quotations for IT solutions.
  • Meet with clients on a monthly basis, providing reporting and feedback.
  • Work closely with the Service Delivery team to monitor and maintain existing agreements to ensure we maximise profits.
  • Provide input and feedback to Senior Management to assist in the development of the company.
  • Attain vendor certifications per the Emerging IT strategy.


Preferred qualifications:

It will be advantageous to have vendor certifications, knowledge and/or experience in the following:

Experience selling the following IT services

  • Managed IT
  • Cybersecurity
  • Cloud Computing
  • SharePoint

Vendor security certifications may include the following or equivalent to:

  • Sophos
  • Microsoft
  • HP

The following certifications are desirable but not required:

  • Bachelor/Masters degree
