The opportunity

Our Managed Services business unit is seeking a Senior Engineer (Azure & IaC) to join the team with a unique blend of responsibilities. This role will be dedicated to developing, deploying and uplifting Security product solutions within our Security Operations Centre (SOC), while adopting DevOps across the Microsoft Azure platform, with an emphasis on automation. This opportunity will be perfect for someone who is passionate around continuous improvement and uplifting capability and product functionality!

• Day to day, you'll engineer advanced technical solutions on Azure, addressing requirements for operations, scalability, reliability, security, and performance. This will involve leading the evolution of our Security Insight product within the SOC space.
• You'll be collaborating with a range of stakeholders to lead and create functional design specifications in the cloud with a focus on driving accelerated continuous improvement in products and service operations aiming to reduce costs and enhance client satisfaction.
• In terms of the technical skills you'll bring to the role, you'll need to be comfortable deploying Azure using IaC (such as Terraform, Bicep and PowerShell), adopting DevOps practices (CI CD) and be comfortable working through ticketing or incident handling where required. Awareness and experience within Security is advantageous (but we can upskill the right person as required).
• As a senior team member, you'll be supporting other engineers, both internal and external, to identify best configurations of platforms and resulting workloads aligned to Microsoft frameworks (CAF).
