The Opportunity

We are looking for an energetic, tech-obsessed team member to join our Demand Generation hub as a Business Development Representative. As the first point of call for many of our prospective customers, you’ll be able to quickly establish rapport and use your information gathering and problem-solving skills to connect Australian IT decision makers to our team of cloud and security experts.

What you'll be doing

  • Utilise the tools at your disposal to find the right person, within the right business at the right time
  • Follow up on marketing generated leads – proactively calling, emailing, and connecting with prospects to arrange sales meetings
  • Look for opportunities to provide that extra piece on information to help a prospect through their decision-making process or just brighten their day with a random act of kindness
  • Continually develop your knowledge and skills to become a subject matter expert
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of market and competitor trends to sharpen our go-to-market strategy
  • Work in lockstep with our sales and marketing teams to build a reliable pipeline of qualified sales opportunities

Your ideal skills & experience

  • You are self-motivated, love the thrill of the chase and have your heart set on a career in tech sales.
  • You have previous between 1 - 2 years of previous experience in selling cloud and/or cyber security products.
  • You have experience communicating with senior executives. 
  • You are a great communicator with a natural flair for engaging with people, whether they be customers, members of your team or the barista at your local cafe.
  • You have worked in a sales or customer facing role and can cite examples of you going the extra mile to deliver an amazing outcome
  • You love keeping abreast of the latest tech trends. The art of the possible excites you.
