We are looking for a Vulnerability Management Specialist to join our growing team in Brisbane.

As a senior member of the Managed Services team in Brisbane, you will lead engagements with a variety of Enterprise and Government customers to deliver Vulnerability Management Services

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Liaising with a variety of stakeholders to scope, design and deploy products in the Rapid7 Insight Platform family
  • Performing vulnerability scans and assessments for our customers using Rapid7 products such as InsightVM, InsightAppSec and InsightCloudSec.
  • Analysing and prioritizing the findings and providing remediation recommendations
  • Developing and maintaining vulnerability management policies, procedures, and standards for our customers
  • Developing automation playbooks using the InsightConnect platform in order to optimise service delivery and customer insights
  • Collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment with best practices
  • Reporting and communicating the status and progress of vulnerability management projects and initiatives

 

We are looking for a well-organised professional, with initiative and enthusiasm. You will have over 5 years of relevant experience and will have a good mix of the following skills, knowledge & experience:

  • Experience with Vulnerability Management technologies such as Rapid7 (highly desirable), Tenable, Qualys etc.
  • Experience in analysis and delivery of vulnerability reports, managing a VMS platform and developing mitigation and remediation strategies for complex environments
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, firewalls and ITSM concepts
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, BASH and PowerShell
  • Experience with automation platforms and playbook development
  • Knowledge of standards and frameworks including Essential 8, NIST CSF, CIS18 and ISO/IEC 27000 series
  • Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
