How will you help contribute to our success?

  • Provide intermediate technical support related to network/security device configuration and troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, vendor management and escalation
  • Provide guidance and leadership support to service desk and level 1 engineers
  • Manage, maintain, and enhance internal / customer-facing platforms with particular focus on networking and edge device security
  • Create and maintain Managed Services client documentation such as network topology diagrams, knowledgebase articles, customer environmental information such as vendor support, site support
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders, third party support teams, vendors, and others. Maintain communication feedback loops during high priority incidents
  • Respond to monitoring system alerts and meeting SLA objectives


What skills does our ideal candidate have?

  • Minimum 3 years working in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) specifically supporting network and security infrastructure.
  • Experience with troubleshooting protocols and applications such as TCP/IP, VLANs, NAT, STP, BGP, OSPF, multicast.
  • Intermediate level experience working with network devices from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper Networks, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Sophos, HP, Dell, Aruba.
  • Knowledge and understanding of firewall configuration concepts (zones, policies, IDP, AV, URL filtering, next-generation services, advanced services).
  • Palo Alto Networks (PCNSA, PCNSE), Cisco (CCNA), or Fortinet (NSE4-NSE7) certificate is advantageous
  • Required to already hold or be able to undertake an AGSVA clearance (must hold Australian citizenship)
