As part of this role a Production Technician's service would meet customer’s expectations. You will perform Production Print service calls that achieve the service objectives of customer satisfaction and nationally set service KPI’s. You will work with all Production Print staff to implement best practice processes that support the goals of Production Print. Lastly, you will maintain an advanced level of knowledge on Production Print products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Production Print service calls that achieve the service objectives of customer satisfaction and nationally set service KPI’s.
• Discuss all problems and machine faults with customers in a professional and courteous manner, advising the customer on all aspects of the service call.
• Participate in knowledge sharing of faults and fixes with all team members during regular service meetings
• Improving and maintaining customer relationships to ensure customer retention and satisfaction through ownership of problems and resolving them.
• Accurately account for all spare parts and consumables used in the achievement of service objectives.
• Maintain an advanced level of knowledge on Production Print products through the Production Print: Level 4 Hardware Technical Training Plan
• Work with all Production Print staff to deploy national service strategies on time and within budget
• Comply with all fault escalation procedures including notifying the Production Technical Specialist and Production Supervisor of any potential customer problems 
• Follow and abide by Safe Work Method statements relating to Manual Handling, Servicing Machines and Electrical Safety. Lifting requirement of up 20kgs.

To be successful in this role:

• Experience in resolving high pressure technical situations would be considered highly desirable.  
• Strong technical knowledge of Ricoh products and solutions.
• Experience in the IT and Print copier industry
• Recognised Industry Certification
