We had a need for near real-time analytics and dashboards for our front-office trading and marketing groups. I brought in MRE Consulting to design and implement these tools for us. MRE worked closely with our front-office groups and business analyst teams to gather requirements for, design and build our web-based dashboard solution, which assists our front-office staff to quickly identify storage volumes, daily lifting activity and current market prices. This solution helps our front-office traders and marketers make quicker and more accurate business decisions by displaying key business data in a single easy-to-view screen, with data-driven color and graphs.
At the time of our initial project with MRE, we were having issues with the support we were receiving from our previous vendor. MRE offered us solutions that were professional, knowledgeable and experienced in the area where we needed help. The services MRE provided are a great value and I highly recommend them for any trading or marketing system projects.
We hired MRE Consulting to oversee and coordinate the trading floor build-out of our Houston facility. MRE worked closely with Freepoint's facility management team to plan and implement all the aspects of the office build, and was involved in the IT design, general contractor oversight, vendor management (scheduling, building policy, etc.), furniture, user setup and office relocation from two temporary locations. MRE was able to complete this project in 45 days — and continues to provide IT support to our Houston office.
