SystemsUp recently ran a two day workshop for the Borough of Poole focussing on establishing a business case for the adoption of cloud technologies. We found SystemsUp to be subject experts on both the technologies and the commercials of cloud adoption. Their systemic approach and rigour throughout the two days built real confidence in the eventual findings. The fact that SystemsUp were not trying to sell any products or services gave us the reassurance that the advice given would be vendor agnostic and truly in our best interest.
We wanted a hosting provider who was local to our headquarters but would also work with us in a strategic partnership. iomart showed it could listen to our requirements and respond quickly with a flexible solution. We have a good relationship with iomart. Anything we need doing that we can’t do ourselves we just log in to the control portal, submit a ticket and iomart takes care of it within the parameters of the contract.
iomart has given us direct control of our systems through a hosted VMWare vCenter Platform. It was a seamless transition since no additional training was required. We call iomart only if there’s a problem or if we need firewall ports opened, other than that we have full autonomy to control all our VMs. The flexibility has been fabulous.
On behalf NHS South London CSU it has been a pleasure to work with SystemsUp on this project. They integrated well into the organisation, understanding our constraints and being extremely patient when we had to delay activities at short notice. It was a great experience to work with them.
RapidSwitch provide us with the servers and the servers quickly because when there’s a surge in demand for a particular game we need them now.
