First Choice Staffing has been a customer of M.A. Polce for a long time. Our servers were on site at our 2 offices at the start. We had had many issues with backups not working, and with outages when our servers were on site. I also personally was managing the data services, and it was becoming very difficult for me to juggle such a critical area with all of the other work I had to do managing my staff and office. When it became apparent that our hardware needed updating, one of the solutions that was presented to me was a managed data center service. This has been a truly wonderful solution for us! Our data is now on servers located in M.A. Polce’s data center which is far more secure than anything at our locations would be. I don’t have to worry about taking care of backups, and in cases where that backup is needed, I know their techs can help us get back whatever it is that we need. The best thing is that this isn’t just our data solution, but also our disaster recovery plan. When we have lost power or internet services at our office locations, we are able to work from any location with an internet connection. This keeps us running and able to service our customers without them even knowing there was an issue.
