IT for us, was the bane of our life. We didn’t have any reliability, the support structure around us was pretty poor. You know, just picking up that phone and talking things through. At the time the business was a lot smaller, so the supplier we had could manage and cope with that.
Whereas when the business got a lot bigger and a lot quicker, there were certain strains and difficulties that we experienced with the growth of the business that meant we needed a change of supplier. That led us to making contact with Excellence IT and we haven’t looked back since.

Driscoll Young specialises in Legal Aid criminal defence work where the margins are very tight. We became a paperless office in 2010 to streamline workflows and seek efficiencies. However, we found the move to Secure Email (CJSM) within the Criminal Justice System a backwards step. The CJSM system was slow, lacked storage capacity and struggled with shared mailboxes. We needed one shared mailbox to ensure that all our Criminal Justice System partners can communicate with us immediately. Allowing fee earners to have their own CJSM addresses would have been impossible to monitor and supervise.
I had spoken to many other companies about installing CJSM into Office 365 but struggled to find anyone who understood the system, never mind install it. I was referred to Excellence IT by a local firm of Solicitors.
I spoke to Andy who agreed to meet at my office to look at our systems and come up with a plan to start the process. Andy was able to identify early in the process that gaining the Cyber Essentials accreditation would move the process along swiftly. We quickly gained the accreditation with support from Excellence IT throughout.
Once we had the accreditation, Andy and Josh were in constant contact with Egress who supply CJSM. I was copied in on emails and had regular updates whenever there was progress. CJSM now works flawlessly within Office 365 drastically reducing the time required to deal with emails and attachments.
I cannot fault the service provided by all those involved and will continue to recommend Excellence IT to those requiring IT support services.
