Our Company has been on a managed service contract with Vanguard now going on three years. When we decided to evaluate whether to outsource our IT function we requested quotes from several potential vendors. At that time, nearly all the vendors were on a "pay for services" business model. We felt this did not fit with what we were looking for in that the goal was to keep our systems up and stable which was contrary to the interests of the vendors under a pay for service approach as they get paid when things "break." So these vendors were eliminated up front. There were a few who offered managed services. In checking references and discussions with Vanguard we determined that the best value (balancing their expertise, experience with managed services and, cost) clearly outweighed any pure difference in just cost. Also, outsourcing our IT function was an overall savings vs having IT staff. We have been very pleased with Vanguard and what they have brought/meant to our Company and in retrospect, would not have done anything different. Vanguard is an important business partner.

Vanguard does a great job at keeping our company running smoothly. The single biggest benefit for me is the no down time e-mail system. They respond very quickly to all of our IT needs. We often have to wait days for other vendors to respond, not Vanguard!! Since we do not have IT on staff, they come out to our company once a week to make sure that everything is running smoothly and there are no issues. They've worked late and extra hours in emergencies and projects to make sure we stay running. With Vanguard, I know our systems are safe from all outside threats!
