Our employees, especially those working in remote areas, constantly told us that they felt ‘out of touch’ with the head office; that we didn’t communicate to them well enough and that when we did open the lines of communication with them, we didn’t keep them informed through the process. The functionality of SharePoint® and how Breakwater have designed it allows us to manage workflows better.
Breakwater IT provided an excellent and professional service in migrating NWT’s email system from their internal Microsoft Exchange Servers to Office 365. NWT staff were informed and supported at all stages during and after the migration, which ensured staff, based at multiple locations, experienced a seamless transition.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to staff at Breakwater IT for their professionalism, technical acumen, understanding and patience whilst developing the system to meet our specific requirements, and then testing and implementing it. Our working practices, security of data and reliability have improved considerably as a result of the new system, thank you.
We have been working with Breakwater IT for a number of years now and we rely heavily on their advice and support when designing and maintaining our company network. The support and guidance we’ve had from Breakwater IT over the past 12 months has transformed our IT systems. We have gone from relying on aging, insecure and bulky systems to being able to set up new premises with no more than a firewall. Our new cloud based systems offers us the flexibility and security to better support us in the work we do. All of this has been achieved without fuss or disruption and accomplished on time and on budget. Our staff have been supported throughout the transition and the team at Breakwater IT have been a delight to work with.
Installing 2Factor Authentication alongside our upgrade to Office 365 has been an extremely critical part of EAAA’s commitment to data security. The project itself was challenging (for both EAAA and BWIT) and took longer to complete than initially expected. This was partly due to being the first client of Breakwater’s to adopt 2 factor; which meant that their team were learning about the intricacies at the same time as us, however, I would have no doubt in recommending the team for their support, enthusiasm, patience and commitment to data security.
Working with Breakwater IT we have undertaken a full review of our systems and processes moving the Forum Trust to a more secure and dynamic way of working. At all times Breakwater has supported us through what has been an intensive period of change – all of this over a period when many staff were working remotely due to Covid-19. We continue to work with Breakwater IT to improve our systems and continue to meet the changing needs of our staff and business environment.
Breakwater IT have been instrumental in upgrading our old infrastructure to a more secure system. Where we used to rely on local based servers and ageing technology, we now utilise the power of the cloud and have implemented multi factor authentication which is all down to their expertise. They have helped us vastly improve our cyber security and consistently work with us to improve our systems to make sure the technology we use meets the needs of the business and our staff. The level of service they provide us with is always outstanding.
