About the role 

Reporting to the ICT Operations Manager, you will: 

• Implement, maintain, support and troubleshoot the School’s application and database systems. 
• Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting and enhancement of the School’s database systems, related infrastructure and application. 
• Participate in projects delivering specific and integrated solutions utilising a wide variety of leading enterprise grade technologies. 
• Liaise with the customers on a regular basis, including issue resolutions and take input regarding business requirements. 
• Work closely with vendors on latest best practices, projects, and training opportunities. 
• Work within a team to support broad and varied systems from leading vendors. 
• Grow to become a Systems and Integration specialist

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following skills and requirements: 

• Min. 2 years of experience in the IT professional services industry working as Database Administrator / Systems Administrator. 
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019. 
• Cloud Infrastructure, synchronisation (MS Azure, Azure AD Connect Sync). 
• MS SQL Server 2012, 2016, 2019. 
• MS SQL Reporting Services(SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS). 

Certifications (such as MCSA, MTA) will be well regarded.
