As a school, the aspect of security requires peace of mind, we need organisations like MTI to help and be a responsive and consultative security partner for us.
It was an easy decision for the Council to work with MTI again, the trusted partnership and the reliance on MTI’s expert knowledge meant that we knew we were in safe hands. By addressing the bottleneck issues and the new storage implemented, productivity and efficiency were positively affected through the introduction of the all-flash solution.
Being able to call upon the expert advice that MTI provide is so important to us, as experts in storage and security we know we are getting the best guidance available.It was obvious from the outset that MTI was viewing the issues we had within the wider business context rather than trying to push a technology sell. They are on our side and identify potential business obstacles well ahead of time. This has led to a deep-rooted relationship and one which we are happy to continue with.
MTI’s knowledge of data protection is extremely good, and they highlighted a few important areas for improvement, such as encryption of email data. But there was no hard sell from MTI, they pointed out that we had the technology in place; it was just a question of utilising it to the best effect.
MTI don’t try and push a particular vendor technology. They focus on our needs and use this to make informed decisions about the best technology fit. We have a good, strong and transparent relationship with our MTI account manager. Every time we have engaged with the company they have provided excellent and impartial advice.
The move to flash storage and in particular XtremIO has been a game changer in terms of ease of management, performance gains and time to market for provisioning new services. The benefits apply to all workloads and the burden of managing complex storage solutions is well and truly over. MTI has provided trusted guidance throughout this complex project.
MTI developed a tiered storage architecture for us which was ideal given our competing storage needs. They used their expertise to ensure the best performance possible and have certainly added great value.
