Ping and ProofID working together have delivered substantial improvements and developments that we didn’t think possible 12 months ago. ProofID have over delivered and exceeded expectations.
The PingOne ‘launchpad’ was one of the main things that got me interested in ProofID’s solution; PingOne gives us a way to remove part of our locked down student portal service, as it will only provide access links to logged on services. That’s a real win for us.
The Proof of Concept delivered and presented onsite by ProofID proved to us that NetIQ was the right technology, which met our criteria of a solution that was easy to use, manage and configure but scalable for our needs and plans. ProofID’s long and successful track record in deploying solutions in Academia also gave us the confidence that we had the right partner to support us going forward.
ProofID’s ARMS solution has resolved many of the problems we were experiencing. We have worked closely with ProofID to ensure that we have a solution which integrates the resources we need to be provisioned through ARMS. We see ARMS as an enabler, we’re already thinking about how we can develop this further to include additional resources in the future.
Mazars is a complex organisation and has moved to take advantage of cloud based services such as Office365 to foster better collaboration and sense of community to what is a highly distributed workforce. Given this move our existing identity management service was no longer fit for purpose. Working with ProofID we have rapidly rolled out a new security framework that allows us to integrate new applications and services at pace. The service is transformational for the organisation.
The University’s Strategic Plan provides a clear mandate to its staff to focus on enhancing quality, achievement and satisfaction through the delivery of professional services. ProofID’s Managed Service is ideal for this, as it allows my team to focus on how we will strategically develop the service to address the new challenges we are facing, while having the confidence that ProofID’s team of experts are ‘keeping the lights on’.
ProofID is able to offer out of hours support for the environment, which is essential given the University’s globally distributed nature. With our many overseas campuses, students and partners it is essential that we have confidence that any major outages can be resolved quickly, and the resolution time SLAs offered by ProofID give us that confidence.
We were also impressed by ProofID’s focus on and expertise in next generation identity management technology. We know that we will need to change the way we approach identity management in order to support our services in an increasingly cloud-centric world. ProofID’s expertise in this area will help us adopt cloud services securely and in a seamless manner.
ProofID’s service ensures that our users have reliable access to Office 365, even if, for example, we had a local ISP outage. Being hosted in the UK is also of prime importance for us from a data sovereignty perspective. We were also impressed by ProofID’s vision around next generation identity management, the possibilities offered by IDENTify. The ability to allow login is very interesting in terms of the user experience and delivering UAL IT Services to our Alumni.
