Our main warehouse offices burnt down along with the entire computer system. Ricardo Michell was here that same morning problem solving with staff and installing new hardware in an adjacent warehouse that allowed us not to have to close our business. Medina Baking Products is grateful to the entire team at MCG and look forward to doing business with them for many more years.
First and foremost, we were having a ton of service and support issues with our previous IT provider. We couldn’t get anything fixed, modified or developed. We had to constantly work around the deficiencies, bugs and errors that we were experiencing with our previous business management software. It meant having to do things more than once or twice in order to get the result we needed to satisfy our customer’s requirements. Prior to working with Michell Consulting Group and SAP, we were using a semi-customized solution which was developed by a New Jersey company from which we should have received the necessary support for the software. Unfortunately it became very difficult to get the necessary support for which reason we decided to explore other options. From the moment we decided to go with MCG, they have been outstanding at recognizing our needs and ways to implement necessary changes. From the initial data conversion through the go-live process, MCG what on top of its game. Within a month of going live we were all working seamlessly with SAP. After a few months, we began the process of improving SAP based on our needs, and MCG was instrumental in recommending the appropriate add-ons to get the results we were looking for. Local support and 24/7 access to IT management is invaluable. MCG excels in this area. Absolutely. No doubt in my mind that MCG can help anyone looking to make a change in the IT arena.
