Having Lanworks do our monitoring means we have 24×7 notifications if anything is down without the work of configuring, updating and managing monitoring software or the worry that the physical unit running the monitoring goes down first. It lets my staff concentrate on fixing user issues rather than checking if the monitoring is working as it should.
Lanworks complements our IT organization to ensure efficiency and productivity. They provide us with hardware and software solutions including HP equipment, VMWare, professional services and a Proof of Concept (PoC) evaluation of our LCM solution. Every interaction is performed with in-depth knowledge and complete professionalism, and whenever we have a challenge, they are very responsive – and always execute with a sense of urgency. Lanworks reduced the number of servers that needed to be maintained, added redundancy to protect data, and switched our staff over to Google Apps. This reduced our hardware and software costs considerably, leading to significant overall savings. We can now spend more time focusing on our clients – and less time and money worrying about our IT. The transition from a traditional Exchange server environment to a virtualized environment running Google Apps was a big, risky undertaking. Lanworks’ technical staff took all the necessary steps to minimize downtime and ensure no data was lost. This was critical to us since our business has to function 24/7, with no interruptions.
