“Unfortunately there isn't an option to leave zero stars. Steer clear of this company as they will nickel and dime you every step of the way. They threated to suspend services over a $12.35 "overage" charge, they assess finance charges for several hundred dollars for an invoice paid March 2 that was due Sunday, March 1 (nobody was in the office), and generally look for any excuse to send you another bill outside of their core inflated services bill.

BUYER BEWARE.”

“Stay away. Used Tierpoint for almost a year, moving onto a better cloud provider. Asked for guidance on hardware requirements, they were not even close, just up-charged us for extra usage and said not their problem. Not an IT partner that is there to help, just want to search for fees. Look at their cancellation clause in the contract, have to jump through lots of hoops just to not renew has they are hoping you miss a step. Sales people oversell then under deliver, all in all not a reputable provider.”

“Service has been ok from a reliability. I get constant notices about datacenter to datacenter connections being down but basic internet availability has been good. They constantly make changes to their policy in how you contact them forcing you to pay overages for power even when you are not using it, hiding behind committed use. The cost for power is more than double the cost of the colocation and they have a net 15 day payment window that will charge you for being late. If you want to pay on their portal you have to accept paying their credit card fee as well. They are scam and I do not recommend them.”

“We run a 24×7 operation, so if a server is down at 3am here on the East Coast, it might not seem like a big deal, but it has a huge impact for our users in China. Having resources on hand 24×7 to assist in trouble resolution is critically important for us. It’s great to know that TierPoint has our back.”
