We chose Timico as our technology partner for a number of reasons. Firstly because they understood our technology requirements and could provide the kind of robust and secure IP infrastructure we needed. Timico manage the PWAN for us and sort out the odd hiccup. As we expand the Murco business, they smoothly integrate new sites for us.
The Timico network has made us much more efficient and has allowed Murco to manage a large, and increasingly growing network of retail sites without significantly increasing our staff or costs. The MAM 3G failover has already paid for itself many times over.

Before switching to Timico we endured really poor service from our mobile phone supplier. We have now been with Timico since 2004 for all our mobile telephony needs and the service has always been first rate. Timico cares about the customer.

In meeting Timico, it was clear straightaway that they are not a ‘one-size-fits-all’ network provider. The flexibility they showed in both the network design and delivery stages allowed us the scope to build a future-proofed network within our budgetary constraints, without compromising on quality and reliability.
We received very positive feedback on the robustness of Timico’s service from the outset. The demands are such within a retail environment that however hi-tech your EPOS or other instore kit is, without the underlying guarantee of always-on connectivity, it will be next to useless in supporting the customer experience.

The ViBE routers used by Timico, offer a much lower install cost, compared to anything else we looked at. A low install setup was our main aim when looking for a new WAN provider.

The Timico solution is innovative and provides us with protection from the threat of any security or performance issues from the public internet. The network transition was scheduled for the middle of winter. Despite snow storms and hazardous driving conditions Timico met the tight deadline and the whole process was managed professionally. Even faced with the DVLA relocating their comms link from Manchester to Swansea, which was announced to us mid-way through the roll out, Timico’s ‘can do attitude’ meant that our dealers did not lose a single day of connectivity or the ability to register the cars they sold. This would have had serious implications to the business at an extremely important time.
