In the face of rising concerns about cybersecurity and changes to government regulations relating to privacy, the Board of Allevia decided to get an expert to assess our IT systems. The IT Department team quickly responded to our request and sent a technician to assess our IT systems and then made recommendations about how we could improve security. The resulting work to put those recommendations into action meant that a recent cryptolocker attack of our server was managed quickly with virtually no loss of data or system down time. as the CEO I must thank the IT Department team for their guidance and support and playing their part in ensuring that the only challenge we face is our own human behaviour.
What you made available to my organisation is gold. I just don’t have to worry about backups and security or the ins and outs of resolving problems because I know it’s in hand. That’s invaluable to us!

We also moved to a Datto backup system that provides us peace of mind. Even though we are small organisation, we can’t afford to be lax about security. No more manual back up processes, storage issues or niggling doubts about data security!
As our new technical advisers, you were worried about the state of our backup process. After our new backup system was installed, we have had no backup worries and consequentially neither do the Committee of Management nor the external IT company who performed a review last year on our IT systems post-implementation.
