It got fixed. It seems to be as a result of a patch application on our mail exchange server due to Austin Tech tackling a hack venerability.

Brady found the lost email I could not find and even went one step further and gave us a tip how to search in future.

We would like to formally acknowledge and commend the whole team at Austin Technology for all their assistance with helping us set-up our company on remote desktops, restoring our website after being subject to a ransomware attack, and providing incredible technical support to all our staff.

In December 2017, our company website was subject to a ransomware attack which meant no possible clients could access our company website or contact information, costing us valuable business. We contacted many IT services in WA to request help, but Austin Technology were the only ones to get back to us in a timely and friendly manner. They helped us restore the website and now back it up on their servers in Perth. All our employees work from home, and we were previously using a web-based cloud server for all our documents which was creating multiple copies of files and proving to be a headache for everybody after five years of using this service. Austin Technology demonstrated the remote desktop, set-it up within a matter of days, letting us fully customise our drives and permissions for each employee so confidentiality wasn’t compromised.

Our company has a team of disabled users, which for some IT companies may prove as a challenge, especially when trying to solve IT issues remotely. However, Austin Technology have treated all our staff equally and with respect, working constantly to help each employee set-up their email on their mobile phones, remote desktop issues and any other hurdle they may encounter.
