Elastx’s platform offered a breeding ground for our systems with a pliability to connect different solutions to it. The flexibility and the possibility to do it our own way were major factors in the choice of supplier.
We have developed our architecture ourselves. However, through choosing Elastx jelastic:PaaS (powered by Jelastic) we could shorten the time to market as we did not have to configure/worry about setting up the hosting environment. We could rely on Elastx expertise in this field and a solution that would meet the requirements of today but also offered a solution we can grow with.
Even as early as during the test runs, Elastx successfully reduce our response time from 250-300 milliseconds to 3 milliseconds, which have facilitated our work considerably. Elastx has become our partner and security. With a high level of expertise in server and infrastructure level, they can help us with the parts we do not want to deal with ourselves. The performance works flawlessly thanks to Elastx.
We met the Elastx crew at Sweden’s biggest Java developer conference Jfokus and kind of took it from there. At the time we were in big need of help with scaling and we were in a situation with a partner that only offered monolithic single instance virtual servers with a set and static number of preferences, which made it very difficult for us to scale as the number of users grew.
As our software organisation consists mainly of developers, we immediately wanted to get our hands on such an intuitive tool. Not only for our production needs put for a multitude of testing and laboratory level stuff. I know it might sound cheesy, but we really were in awe.
